John
Chedid has lived and worked in Parramatta
for over thirty years. He attended Rosehill public school and then Arthur
Phillip High.
- John
is married to Monty and they have two daughters. His elder daughter attends St.
Patrick’s primary school here, in Parramatta.
- John’s professional experience spans fifteen years within the health industry,
involving point of care medical diagnostic equipment. He has worked with
nurses, doctors and specialists throughout New South Wales.
- As a
small business owner, John understands the pressures of running a business.
- John is a Parramatta City
Councillor, giving him the opportunity to engage with the people of Parramatta and represent
the needs of the community on local issues.
- John
is proud to have been associated with the Parramatta Police Community Youth
Club, (PCYC), for over twenty-five years, allowing him to work with local
police and to assist in the development and support of our local youth.
- John
has also been active in sport, having played soccer for Granville Waratahs and
rugby league for Parramatta Junior Eels. He has also been involved in coaching
and assisting for local rugby league team Parramatta Marist.
- John
is very active in the community and has been involved with various charities
and organisations for many years including, (but not limited to):
Through
these efforts John has gained a deep understanding of Parramatta’s needs.
